UK Government Digital Service Ecosystem
Zahid has contributed to the design and improvement of several large-scale public digital services across the United Kingdom, working within departments including:
• HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)
• Cabinet Office
• Ministry of Justice
• Department for Transport
• HM Courts & Tribunals Service
These projects involved simplifying complex government services, improving accessibility standards, and redesigning user journeys to help citizens better understand and interact with public systems.
At the Cabinet Office, Zahid led service design work on the Procurement Pathway project, collaborating with cross-functional teams of developers, policy experts, researchers, and auditors to improve usability and accessibility of procurement guidance used across government.
Across multiple roles within the GDS ecosystem, Zahid has helped design services that support millions of users while meeting strict accessibility, security, and regulatory standards.
